Pastor Nilsa Ramos
President
Pastor Nilsa Ramos was born in Puerto Rico and raised in a Christian home. Her father, a pastor, and her mother, a faithful follower of Jesus Christ, both of whom always set a great example for her. Even as a child, she was her father’s assistant in his pastoral work and also his secretary in his company.
On December 7, 1974, she married Pastor Víctor Ramos, and today they are happily married. Their lifestyle continued, but she moved to another pastoral home. Pastor Nilsa studied to become a legal secretary and for many years worked in law firms and in the legal division of government offices. During that time, she became the mother of four boys: Víctor Javier, Giovanni, Leonel, and Yamil. In 1989, she became an entrepreneur, founding a flower and gift shop.
In her 25 years of pastorate, Pastor Nilsa, along with her husband, played the role of a first lady, developing family-oriented activities in the church and in the communities. She was always a help in her husband Victor’s ministry, working to unify the Church.
God had an extraordinary plan for this couple. Their long years of prayer to move to Florida were answered. She was a real estate broker and met with a corporation to offer them some land for sale in Florida. During the meeting, he replied, “We don’t buy land, but we would like you to stay and work with us,” and she accepted the challenge. She asked him to transfer her to a branch in Florida. The boss immediately responded affirmatively, and she was accepted into the Florida offices. God opened a door for this family to move to Florida. Once in Florida, the company paid their rent, transportation, gas, and meals as part of their job.
In 2013, Pastor Nilsa went to Cuba to take a course called Perspective. That course changed her perspective on missions and her heart was transformed into a missionary one. From then on, God gave her the vision to work in healthcare missions, with an evangelistic focus. Her first intervention was in Cuba. Pastor Nilsa currently presides over Medical Missions Saving Lives, a non-profit organization with a team of volunteers and a group of healthcare professionals who reach beyond borders, reaching souls for Christ. Performing both volunteer and evangelistic work, as a chaplain, she served as a teacher to the inmates of Prison 33 in Orlando, Florida.
